Lara Michele

In 1999, after years of experiencing injuries and postural imbalances, I was inspired to study massage therapy. Through my quest for balance and harmony within my own body, I dedicated my life to learning and healing myself as well as helping others. There is no better classroom than one's own body.

During my healing process, I realized that simply massaging muscles was not enough. Though it feels wonderful, my body never felt any lasting changes. The missing piece: look beyond the symptoms to find the cause.  I learned the depth and validity of structural bodywork, an approach that looks at the whole body to find the source of dysfunction.

I have studied with leaders in the field of structural bodywork, such as John Barnes and Hugh Gilbert, as well as many other incredible teachers in various therapeutic modalities.

I am a member of the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and I'm a licensed massage therapist in Arizona. 
I have worked in various occupational settings such as private practice, spa, therapy center, hotel and chiropractic office. I have treated clients in California, Arizona and Europe.
